How does this site work
Which study programmes are included on Studychoice.nl?
The www.studychoice.nl website only offers information about accredited English-taught and Dutch-taught study programmes in the Netherlands. In the Dutch system, Bachelor's or Master's programmes must be accredited in order to receive government subsidies, issue official diplomas and provide student grants and loans.
The study programme descriptions provided on this website are based on information in the
Studiekeuzedatabase. The most important criterion for programmes' inclusion in the database is accreditation and registration in the Netherlands as a full-fledged Bachelor's or Master's degree programme. Programmes must also be accepting new students in order to qualify.
How does this website rank study programmes?
With the various quick comparison functions, the study programme with the highest average score for all of the specified criteria tops the list. All of the criteria carry equal weight.
Please note that if there is no information available on a study programme, for instance because the random sample is too small to provide statistically reliable information, a cross appears in the table (no score). The study programme will appear at the bottom of this list, however this does not mean that it is the worst programme!
When 'searching' for study programmes, the courses do not appear in order of highest to lowest score. The first programme selected appears at the top, but this does not say anything about the quality
